What is Protein?

Protein is one out of seven essential nutrients to help your body to function. 

What happens when it is digested?

Your body will break the protein down in to amino acids for it to use.

Why do I need to intake Protein?

Your body can actually make some of these amino acids itself, but only some, your body has to intake the ones it can't create itself. 

What does my body use Protein for?

The amino acids broken down from the protein can be used for many things, including; muscle growth and repair, building cells, developing of skin hair and nails. Protein can also be used by the body as an energy source in extreme circumstances.
